Prescott Circle Trail, Nature's Amenity At Your Doorstep
Stringfield is conveniently built around one of the Prescott Circle Trail trailheads. It’s the perfect gathering place to soak up the views with neighbors, family, and friends before or after your adventure on the trail. Whether it be for a short scenic stroll, longer day hike, or mountain biking to your heart’s delight- the trail will always lead back home.
The Prescott Circle Trail is a network of non-motorized trails that combine to make a 56-mile loop around Prescott. The PCT is jointly managed by the City of Prescott (25 miles) and Prescott National Forest (31 miles). The trail comes as close as three miles to downtown Prescott and is easily accessible with 15 trailheads along its length. A lap of the PCT has about 6,000 feet of elevation gain and can be enjoyed as an adventurous one- or two-day trip or a multi-day experience over a period of days, weeks or months. Three of Prescott’s four seasons – spring, summer and fall – offer superb conditions on the PCT.
The PCT is a single-track trail winding through riparian areas, lakes, rock formations, mixed forest and the region’s surrounding grasslands. The environmental variety is never ending, offering spectacular views and serene nature experiences while creating an ideal outdoor playground for everyone.
It’s really a built-in amenity for our community! Enjoy!
